Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; Bachelor's of Nursing preferred.
• Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required.
• Additional certifications may be required based on discipline and/or nursing unit requirements.
• RN I <1 year, RN II = 1-3 years, RN III = 3-10 years, RN IV = 10+ years.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates commitment to the Partners-in-Caring culture and Memorial Hermann's standards while delivering quality service.

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe and appropriate care to patients per nursing skills and patient needs.
• Coordinates planning for nursing care with an interdisciplinary team and makes clinical decisions.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to achieve positive patient outcomes based on data and standards.
• Coordinates discharge and transfer planning for patients.
• Participates in ongoing evaluation of programs, process improvements, and client-centered outcomes.
• Adheres to regulatory standards and Memorial Hermann policies, maintaining budget and productivity targets.
