Job summary

Lallie Kemp Regional Medical Center, located in Independence, LA, seeks a Registered Nurse 1-2 for the Operating Room to join a dedicated healthcare team. The RN will identify patients, plan care, and support surgeons and staff in a dynamic OR setting.

Responsibilities include circulating and scrub duties, maintaining charts, and contributing to policy updates. Must hold LA RN licensure and BLS/ACLS certifications. On-call occasionally required.

Qualifications

• Current Louisiana RN license or valid multi-state/NLC/eNLC permit.

Responsibilities

• Identify patient and verify chart and procedure site.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a single OR.
• Assist surgeon and anesthetist as needed and ensure proper technique.
• Circulate and scrub duties including equipment prep and counts.
