Job summary

Florida Springs Surgery Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room on a PRN basis. The RN will position and prep patients, circulate cases, and work within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining high infection control standards.

Candidate must have graduated from an accredited nursing program with an active Florida RN license (BSN preferred) and BLS certification. Weekdays only; some evenings, competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing (RN license in Florida).
• One year operating room experience with spine and ortho surgery preferred.
• Current American Heart BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Position the patient, prep the patient, and circulate the case.
• Maintain infection control standards and professional competencies.
• Work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.
• Weekdays only — no holidays, weekends, or call; some evenings.

OPERATING ROOM REGISTERED NURSE PRN

Florida Springs Surgery Center is a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center conveniently located off of US Highway 19 on the west coast of Florida.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse, operating room, provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, have the ability to multi-task, the ability to show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies and have the ability to work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.

Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings required. Competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate.

Qualifications:

• Candidates must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• Must have a current unrestricted RN license in the state.
• one year operating room experience with spine and ortho surgery preferred
