Job summary

Florida Springs Surgery Center in Florida is seeking a PRN Operating Room Registered Nurse to provide nursing care during surgery. The RN will position and prep patients and circulate cases, with focus on infection control and teamwork.

The ideal candidate has graduated from an accredited nursing program, with RN license in good standing, and ideally BSN and OR experience in spine/orthopedics. BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• Must have a current unrestricted RN license in the state.
• One year operating room experience with spine and ortho surgery preferred
• Current American Heart BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care and service during surgery cases.
• Positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case.
• Maintain scrupulous infection control standards and professional competencies.
• Work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse, operating room, provides nursing care and service during surgery cases.
The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case.
Ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, have the ability to multi-task, the ability to show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies and have the ability to work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.

Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings required. Competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate.
