St. Mary's Ambulatory Surgery Center in Alabama is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join us as a Full-time Operating Room RN.

You'll support perioperative care across specialties, prepare the OR, monitor patients, administer medications and assist with anesthesia as needed, while upholding sterile technique and safety standards. No weekends, holidays, or on-call, a $5K sign-on bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package are offered to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Active RN license is required.
• Minimum three years of operating room nursing experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up the operating room for diverse procedures.
• Monitor patients during surgery and ensure safety.
• Administer medications and assist with anesthesia as needed.
• Maintain sterile technique and aseptic conditions.
• Provide postoperative care and coordinate recovery.
• Uphold infection control and safety standards.
• Serve as backup scrub tech when required.
