Job summary

Saint Peter's Health Care System in New Jersey is seeking an Operating Room RN to join its Magnet-designated team. The role emphasizes collaborative nursing, careful patient assessment, adherence to Standards of Care, safe medication administration, and thorough documentation.

The successful candidate will be a Licensed Registered Nurse in New Jersey, with BSN preferred or expected within three years, and BLS certification per American Heart Association guidelines.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
• BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association.
• BSN preferred or must be obtained within three (3) years of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team.
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards.
• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care.
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy.
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care.

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
