Job summary

Saint Peter's Healthcare System in New Jersey is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab RN to join our Magnet-designated team. You will contribute to patient care in a highly collaborative nursing environment, performing assessments, administering medications, and documenting care according to standards.

Qualified RNs with NJ licensure, BLS/ACLS, ECG and Critical Care training are encouraged to apply. The role offers competitive base pay with potential certification pay and shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in the State of New Jersey.
• BSN preferred or must be obtained within three years of hire.
• BLS certification required per American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification obtained during clinical orientation.
• ECG course completed during clinical orientation.
• Critical Care course completed during clinical orientation.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team.
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards.
• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care.
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy.
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care.

The Cardiac Cath Lab RN will:

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards

• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care

Requirements:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
• BSN preferred or must be obtained within three (3) years of hire date
• BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification obtained during clinical orientation
• ECG course completed during clinical orientation
• Critical Care course completed during clinical orienation

Salary Range: 47.00 - 62.00 USD

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
