Job summary

Westlawn Surgery Center, a brand-new, single-specialty facility in Murfreesboro, TN, seeks an Operating Room Registered Nurse to provide nursing care during surgery. The Circulating RN will position, prep, and circulate the case to ensure smooth procedures and patient safety.

The ideal candidate has an accredited nursing degree, 3 years OR/circulating experience, orthopedic background, TN RN license, and BLS/ACLS. CNOR preferred; strong communication and policy knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school or professional nursing.
• Three years of OR/circulating experience.
• Must have orthopedic experience.
• Current unrestricted TN RN license.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• CNOR preferred.
• Critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Knowledgeable of hospital policies and procedures specific to the operating room.

Responsibilities

• Position the patient during surgery.
• Prep the patient for the procedure.
• Circulate the case to support the surgical team.

Operating Room Registered Nurse at Westlawn Surgery Center

The Registered Nurse Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The Circulating RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case.
