Advanced Surgery Center of Sarasota in Florida is seeking a Per Diem Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our busy ambulatory surgery team.

The Circulator will position and prep patients, circulate cases, and support orthopedics, spine, pain and podiatry procedures while upholding high standards of patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program
• Active Florida RN license
• BLS, ACLS or PALS as required
• Minimum 1 year Circulator experience
• CNOR preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Knowledge of OR policies and procedures
• Proficiency in OR nursing across pediatric to geriatric populations

Responsibilities

Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) at Advanced Surgery Center of Sarasota

The Registered Nurse Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The Circulating RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: orthopedics, spine, pain and podiatry

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center
• A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
