Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. Candidates should have at least 1 year of perioperative OR experience and possess an RN license in the state.

Join a Magnet teaching hospital within the Advocate Health network and contribute to safe patient care. This full-time, 40-hour week includes PM shifts (4-10s or 5-8s) with occasional weekends/holidays and on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Time management, problem-solving, adaptability, and teamwork in the OR.

Responsibilities

Registered nurses with a minimum of 1 year experience in Perioperative nursing in the Operating Room (OR) are welcome to apply! We’re Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Time management and problem-solving skills, willingness to learn new things, adaptable to change, and dedication to the team's success in the operating room.

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills professional communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
