Job summary

Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL seeks a Registered Nurse with perioperative OR experience to join the main operating room circulating team. This full-time role is 40 hours per week with a PM shift and occasional weekends/on-call, delivering high-quality patient care.

You will coordinate perioperative nursing, lead patient safety efforts, and support evidence-based practices in a Magnet teaching hospital within Advocate Health Care.

Qualifications

• Must complete an accredited nursing program.
• Must hold an RN license valid in the state.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association).
• Strong time management, problem-solving, and adaptability.

Main Operating Room Circulating Registered Nurse for Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. Registered nurses with a minimum of 1 year experience in Perioperative nursing in the Operating Room (OR) are welcome to apply! We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Time management and problem-solving skills, willingness to learn new things, adaptable to change, and dedication to the team's success in the operating room.

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills professional communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
