Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, IL, is seeking a registered nurse for the Surgery department. This full-time role requires completion of an accredited nursing program and a current RN license in the state.

You will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care, using evidence-based practice and strong communication to ensure a safe environment and exceptional patient experience. PM shift, 8- or 10-hour shifts, with call, weekends and some holidays.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• At least 6 months of RN experience; not for new grads.
• RN license issued by the state where you practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association.

We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new grads
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

What You’ll Do:

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
