Job summary

Barkley SurgiCenter is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse Endoscopy/Operating Room Circulator to join our team in Fort Myers, FL. The RN will provide nursing care in the OR, position and prep patients, and circulate cases during surgical procedures.

The ideal candidate has Endo/GI experience, 1+ year Circulator experience, an unrestricted RN license in Florida, and a current BLS certificate. Weekdays only with some late evenings; no holidays, weekends, or calls.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Must have a current unrestricted RN license in the state.
• Must have Endo/GI experience.
• 1+ years of experience working as a Circulator.
• Current American Heart BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the operating room during surgery.
• Position and prep the patient; circulate the case.
• Maintain infection control standards and professional competences.
• Collaborate with an interdependent multidisciplinary team.

• EGD – Upper GI Endoscopy

JOB SUMMARY:

• The Registered Nurse, in the operating room, provides nursing care and service during surgery cases.
• The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case.
• The ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, have the ability to multi-task, the ability to show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies, and have the ability to work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.
