Job summary

Barkley SurgiCenter is seeking a full time Registered Nurse Endoscopy/Operating Room Circulator. The RN will provide nursing care in the operating room, position and prep patients, and circulate cases, ensuring infection control and team collaboration.

Ideal candidates have Endoscopy/GI experience, at least 1 year as a Circulator, and a current Florida RN license. BSN preferred; weekdays only, no holidays/weekends/calls; some later evenings may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• Current unrestricted RN license in state of Florida required.

Responsibilities

• Positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case during surgery.
• Maintain infection control standards and professional competencies.
• Work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and high-quality care.

JOB SUMMARY:

• The Registered Nurse, in the operating room, provides nursing care and service during surgery cases.
• The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case.
• The ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, have the ability to multi-task, the ability to show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies, and have the ability to work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.
