Job summary

University Orthopedics in East Providence, RI is seeking an Operating Room X-Ray Technologist for a full-time, 40-hour schedule. This OR-dedicated role focuses on imaging during cases using the GE 9900 Elite, with cross-site coverage at Mansfield, MA as needed.

You will work as part of a team of x-ray technologists, ensuring patient safety, sterile technique, and accurate image capture for procedures such as hip and shoulder arthroplasty and spinal fusions.

Qualifications

• Two years of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT registration or pending status.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Ability to move patients and equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment is functioning properly and report malfunctions.
• Identify and prepare patients and perform radiologic exams per established protocols.
• Select the correct patient, anatomy, and protocols for exams.
• Confirm, schedule and log completed radiologic procedures.
• Clean and maintain equipment and examination rooms.
• Stock necessary radiologic supplies.
• Additional duties as assigned by the Manager.
