Job summary

Premier Health is seeking a Patient Care Tech to support the Operating Room team at Miami Valley Hospital. This full-time role offers a 10:00 AM - 8:30 PM shift totaling 40 hours per week, with duties performed under nurse supervision to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

You will assist with vitals, patient mobility, hygiene, specimen collection, and reporting changes to the nurse. Education requires a high school diploma or GED, plus BLS CPR certification; prior experience is not required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• STNA/CNA/PCT training or equivalent preferred.
• Must obtain or have BLS CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Check vitals: temperature, heartbeat, and breathing.
• Assist patients with movement, dressing, and meals.
• Collect samples such as urine.
• Report changes in a patient’s condition to a nurse.
• Assist with patient walks, hygiene, and weighing patients.
