Job summary

Temple University Hospital – Women’s and Families Campus is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager for the Operating Room. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, you will plan, direct, and evaluate the clinical and administrative activities of the OR unit, ensuring staff oversight and quality patient care.

Required is a minimum of 2 years RN experience in an OR, BSN, and PA RN licensure with multi-state compact. BLS is required; Master's degree in nursing or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years RN experience in an Operating Room.
• Experience in a clinical leadership role is preferred.
• Master’s degree in nursing or related field is preferred or may be substituted by relevant education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, organizes, coordinates and evaluates overall clinical and administrative activities of the OR unit.
• Assumes staff oversight and patient care leadership in the absence of the Nurse Manager.
• Supervises, mentors and counsels nursing staff; ensures staffing supports optimal nursing service delivery.
