Job summary

Riverside University Health System Medical Center in Moreno Valley, CA, seeks Registered Nurse I/II/III MC/CHC for the Operating Room. The RN will scrub and circulate a variety of surgical cases and support trauma, robotics, orthopedics, and other services.

Licensure includes a California RN license and BLS certification. The position offers a 4/10 schedule with on-call requirements and competitive hourly pay with specialty differentials.

Qualifications

• Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of California (CA RN license).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• RN I: Education appropriate for CA RN licensure; RN II: 1 year of acute care/clinic experience; RN III: 3 years of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate a variety of surgical cases in the OR.
• Assist physicians in treatments, exams, and operations.
• Administer medications and document treatment and progress.
• Counsel patients and families on medical information and care.
• Transcribe physician orders and maintain concise medical records.
• Participate in quality assurance reviews and act as a team leader.
