Job summary

Incredible Health in Pomona, CA is seeking an Operating Room / Surgical Nurse (RN) to support surgical teams across CVOR, Circulate, Neuro, Open heart, Ortho, PACU and other specialties.

The position requires an RN license and ADN or higher, with 1+ years of OR experience preferred; ACLS/PALS certifications are a plus. You will ensure patient safety, assist intra-operative care, and communicate with patients and families throughout the perioperative period.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing is required.
• Active and unencumbered RN license is required.
• 1+ years of OR/surgical experience preferred.
• ACLS and/or PALS certifications preferred.
• Experience with aseptic and sterile techniques.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with staff, physicians, patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery per AORN standards.
• Maintain an aseptic and safe environment in the Operating Room.
• Assist in intra-operative patient care and perform nursing/technical duties as assigned.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and physiological parameters during surgery.
• Communicate with patients and families about the procedure and postoperative care.
