Job summary

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN strongly preferred within 3 years of hire.
• 1 year RN experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients, families, and staff using evidence-based practices and cultural sensitivity.
• Educates patients and families to identify learning needs and plan discharge.
• Uses information technology to communicate and monitor outcomes of care.
• Participates in hospital safety, quality improvement, and inter-professional teamwork.
