Job summary

Mcbride Orthopedic Hospital in Oklahoma City seeks a Registered Nurse, Operating Room, to deliver direct patient care during intra-operative phases and to support a safe, efficient peri-operative environment.

The role requires a current Oklahoma RN license and BLS; ACLS is preferred within 6 months of hire. OR experience is highly preferred, CPSI knowledge is a plus. This is a safety-sensitive position located on site.

Qualifications

• Current license by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Must possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Possess or be willing to obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification (within 6 months of hire).
• New hires with expired BLS will be scheduled for the first available class during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Delivers direct patient care in the intra-operative period of the surgical experience.
• Circulates proficiently and independently to support the surgical team.
• Teaches and acts as a preceptor to new employees, students, or visitors.
