Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center seeks an Associate Nurse Manager for the Main OR at University Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center. This role supports the Nurse Manager and leads a team of care providers to deliver patient‑centered care.

Responsibilities include planning, organizing, directing and evaluating 24/7 operations, coaching staff, collaborating with other units, and promoting Magnet, Trauma, Burn and Stroke care standards in a high‑volume environment.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current Ohio RN license is required.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience; four to eight years preferred; experience in an acute care setting required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, organization, direction and evaluation of patient care operations on a 24-hour basis.
• Manage, guide, coach and evaluate the work performance of patient care staff in designated areas.
• Collaborate with other patient care departments to support care operations and services.
