Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Short Stay Surgery unit at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC. This role focuses on planning and delivering professional nursing care and assumes charge nurse responsibilities as assigned.

The unit operates 8-hour days with no weekends, and candidates must have OR/ circulating experience and NC RN licensure. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current licensure in North Carolina as a Registered Nurse or Compact state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the patient and identifies patient care needs.
• Plans, organizes, implements, and evaluates patient care.
• Administers medication as ordered by physician.
• Maintains an accurate and relevant record of patient care.
• Actively participates in cost containment and assists in accurate charging for patient services.
