Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Short Stay Surgery unit to plan and deliver professional nursing care for surgical patients across Pre-Op, Recovery, and Discharge phases.

Requirements include an RN license in NC (or a compact state), an ADN (BSN preferred), and strong clinical and leadership skills. Shifts are 8 hours, Monday–Friday, with no weekends or on-call requirements. Relocation assistance available.

Formación

• Associates Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s in Nursing preferred.
• Current NC RN licensure or Compact state licensure.
• Proficient in professional nursing practice and patient care.
• Ability to work in a structured surgical unit with EPIC charting.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patient care needs using assessment information.
• Plan, organize, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Administer medications as ordered by physicians.
• Establish collaborative interdisciplinary relationships.
• Act as charge nurse as assigned and maintain records.
• Monitor care quality and participate in cost containment.
• Respond to life-threatening situations promptly.
• Support age-specific psychosocial needs of patients.
