Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking an Operating Room Nurse for our ambulatory surgery center in Dallas. You will contribute as a circulating or scrub nurse, ensuring safe and effective care until patients transfer to recovery.

You will oversee OR setup, coordinate cases as circulator, assist with anesthesia, and maintain accurate documentation while supporting the team and adhering to facility protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Active RN license as required by state of employment or compact licensure.
• BCLS, ACLS; PALS preferred; CNOR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee instrument and equipment setup for the OR.
• Coordinate and oversee your room during a case as the circulator.
• Facilitate effective transition between surgical procedures.
• Move patients using proper body mechanics to prevent injury.
• Assist with anesthesia and manage patient care and medications.
• Review charts for completeness per documentation protocols.
