Job summary

Henry Ford Staffing is seeking a Regional Float Operating Room RN to join Henry Ford Health System on a contingent basis. This role offers 24 hours per month and shifts that vary across locations.

As a float nurse, you will work in multiple OR settings, provide nursing care, and support staffing needs with flexibility and premium pay. You will maintain patient care plans and communicate effectively with the care team.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS certification.
• TB test and vaccines (e.g., flu) as required.

Responsibilities

• Float to multiple locations in HFHS as needed for OR staffing.
• Formulate and contribute to effective nursing care plans.
• Perform nursing interventions across varied surgical settings.
• Identify patient problems before changes in vital signs or data.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital staff.
