CHRISTUS Health in San Antonio, TX seeks a competent registered nurse to provide routine and complex care in a fast-paced clinical setting. The role requires independent practice, adherence to nursing process, and the ability to delegate under supervision when appropriate.

You will work five days a week, eight hours per day, full-time. BSN preferred; 1 year nursing experience preferred; BLS and an active RN license (TX or compact) are required to ensure safe patient care.

Formación

• BSN preferred.
• 1 year nursing experience preferred.
• BLS required.
• RN License (TX or Compact) required.

Responsabilidades

• Uses the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Administers medications and treatments using appropriate protocols; monitors side-effects and effectiveness.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication and care given.
• Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, families and/or caregivers.
