Job summary

Northern Michigan Surgical Suites is seeking a full-time Operating Room Nurse (OR RN) to provide nursing care during surgery cases and to position, prep, and circulate patients. The role includes work across specialties such as General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Facial Plastics, Neurosurgery, Vascular Surgery, Ophthalmology, and Podiatry.

Qualified candidates will be a graduate of an accredited RN program, hold a state RN license, and have BLS/ACLS/PALS as required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Circulator.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and service during surgery cases.
• Position, prep, and circulate the patient.
• Experience in General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Facial Plastics, Neurosurgery, Vascular Surgery, Ophthalmology and Podiatry procedures.

Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) at Northern Michigan Surgical Suites

The Operating Room Nurse provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The Operating Room Nurse will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Facial Plastics, Neurosurgery, Vascular Surgery, Ophthalmology, and Podiatry.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center
• A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
