Job summary

Northern Michigan Surgical Suites is hiring a full-time Operating Room Nurse (OR RN) to support our ambulatory surgical center. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is available for external hires and experienced circulators.

The OR nurse will position, prep, and circulate cases across specialties including General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, and more, delivering high-quality patient care in a state-of-the-art setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Circulator.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care during surgery cases.
• Positioning, prepping and circulating the patient during procedures.

Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) at Northern Michigan Surgical Suites

The Operating Room Nurse provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The Operating Room Nurse will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Facial Plastics, Neurosurgery, Vascular Surgery, Ophthalmology, and Podiatry.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center
• A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
