Job summary

Northern Michigan Surgical Suites is seeking a full-time Operating Room Registered Nurse to support surgery cases and ensure patient safety. The OR RN will position and prep patients, and circulate cases across multiple specialties including General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, and Neurosurgery.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited RN program, an active RN license in Michigan, and 1 year of Circulator experience with BLS/ACLS/PALS as required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center.
• A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

Responsibilities

• Positioning the patient during surgery.
• Prepping the patient for the procedure.
• Circulating the case and assisting the surgical team.
• Experience in General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Facial Plastics, Neurosurgery, Vascular Surgery, Ophthalmology, and Podiatry.

Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) at Northern Michigan Surgical Suites

The Operating Room Nurse provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The Operating Room Nurse will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Facial Plastics, Neurosurgery, Vascular Surgery, Ophthalmology, and Podiatry.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center
