Job summary

United Surgical Partners International is seeking an experienced Operating Room Manager to lead an OR department with five rooms in Austin, TX. The role ensures efficient surgical services, patient flow, staffing, and compliance with clinical standards.

Responsibilities include overseeing surgery, anesthesia, and sterile processing, and collaborating with physicians and staff. Some early mornings and evenings may be required; weekdays only, with no holidays or weekends.

Qualifications

• Nursing licensure and professional standards compliance.
• 5+ years in surgery as circulator prized.
• 2+ years in surgery management including pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all departmental functions supporting the hospital mission and goals.
• Manage cost-effective systems and adapt to schedule flow and patient needs.
• Collaborate with patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors; oversee surgery, anesthesia, and sterile processing.
