Qualifications

• GED required; H.S. Diploma preferred.
• 1-3 years related experience; 3-5 years preferred.
• 2 years experience with inventory and supply chain in hospital setting preferred.
• Knowledge of medical supplies.
• Prioritize responsibilities to ensure completion of duties.
• Ability to report to work on time; accepts schedule adjustments.
• Self-starter; meets responsibilities without prompting.
• Demonstrates teamwork and adaptability under pressure.
• Ability to drive to multiple facilities as assigned.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the Inventory Control System.
• Facilitates new items being added to the system.
• Acts as a liaison between the Operating Room and Materials Service.
• Reconciles discrepancies in inventory balances.
• Manages incoming and outgoing supply inventory.
• Supervises Lead OR Tech and OR Techs.
• Coordinates efforts to meet regulatory compliance and standards.
• Attends department staff meetings as required.
• Punctually reports to work and completes tasks on time.
• Participates in performance improvement activities.
