Qualifications

• Experience: 1-3 years required.
• Education: High School / GED preferred.
• Licensures & Certifications: American Heart Basic Life Support CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall functioning, safety, and maintenance of OR equipment.
• Troubleshoot all equipment independently and in collaboration with Clinical Engineering.
• Maintain all OR tanks and assist with technical issues to ensure patient safety.

About the Role

The OR Equipment Specialist at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, MD is responsible for the overall functioning, safety, technical assistance, and maintenance of all equipment. Works independently to troubleshoot all equipment and works in conjunction with the Clinical Engineering Department. This person is also responsible for the maintenance of all tanks that are within the OR suite.
