Job summary

Job Summary and Qualifications

• Demonstrates clinical competence in both the Circulating and Scrub Nurse roles. Serves in the lead role over a specialized modality of the operating room.
• Plans and provides equipment and supplies based on patient and physician needs in advance of the days schedule.
• Promotes cost containment while delivering quality patient care within the operating room.
• Pursues own professional growth and development through continuing education and inservices.
• Assists OR/PAT/SDS Staff to achieve their potential as members of an effective team through innovative management practices.
• Manages assigned service and staff in conjunction with the Schedule and Clinical Coordinators.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Registered Nurse Diploma
• Required: 3 to 5 years experience as Operating Room RN with demonstrated proficiency leadership and management skills
