Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning tasks as described in the task list using the 7-step cleaning method.
• Cleans operating rooms and adjacent areas including sterile rooms, storage rooms, hallways, and entryways.
• Operates and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies; transports waste and maintains carts.
• Maintains department records and participates in quality assurance and infection control activities.
• Assists with cross-training in other clinical areas as staffing requires.
