Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. seeks a Registered Nurse Operating Room Circulator (PRN) in Illinois to oversee patient care across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative stages, ensuring safety and quality throughout the surgical pathway.

Requires an associate degree in nursing, an active IL RN license, BLS/PALS/ACLS certifications, and at least two years of OR circulating experience; strong teamwork and aseptic technique are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an associate's degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse License - IL.
• Current American Heart Assn. BLS, PALS and ACLS certifications.
• Two years of operating room circulating experience in a hospital or ambulatory surgery center.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process in the preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative phases.
• Anticipate surgeon’s needs during surgical procedures and ensure equipment readiness.
• Legibly document patient information in records and communicate with staff for continuity of care.
• Demonstrate proper aseptic technique and assist with case counting and turnover.
