Job summary

Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center is seeking an RN Advanced Care Circulating Nurse for the Operating Room in a fast-paced Level I Trauma setting. You will provide patient care for elective and emergent procedures across multiple specialties.

The role requires a Florida RN license, BLS, ACLS/TNCC as needed, and at least 1 year of OR circulating experience. This position is based in Orlando, FL within a major academic-center network focused on quality and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Meets mandatory competency requirements for Orlando Health.
• Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license.
• Maintains current BLS/HC provider certification.
• ACLS, TNCC are required for certain areas.
• Minimum one year of Operating Room Circulating Nurse experience required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge, skills, and judgment to care for patients requiring complex assessment and therapies.
• Utilizes data to anticipate and respond to changing patient conditions.
• Identifies information to take immediate evidence-based action.
• Monitors and adjusts OR equipment and records readings from monitors.
• Responds to life-saving situations per nursing standards and protocol.
• Communicates with medical staff to plan and manage the unit/department.
• Acts as a patient advocate and supports department goals.
