Job summary

CommonSpirit Health's St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, CO is seeking a Case Cart Specialist to support perioperative services by managing and coordinating instruments, supplies, and case carts for surgical procedures.

You will liaise between the Operating Room, Sterile Processing, and Supply Chain to ensure readiness, maintain aseptic technique, and help with room turnovers, transport, and equipment prep in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of experience in a surgical or sterile processing setting.
• Knowledge of surgical instruments.

Responsibilities

• Handle room turnovers, case cart distribution and transport, and instrument setup for operating room cases.
• Assemble instruments and equipment for scheduled procedures and ensure proper picks.
• Obtain missing items to prevent delays and track borrowed instruments/equipment.
• Use physician preference cards to identify supplies and update changes.
• Review scheduled procedures, anticipate needs, and coordinate with leadership.
• Prepare the operating room and supplies with aseptic technique.
