Organization: Main OR Tech Support Admin

Job Summary:

Performs general cleaning tasks within and outside of patient rooms. Ensures instrumentation, supplies, and specialty equipment are delivered and available for scheduled procedures. Delivers sterile supplies and equipment to the Operating Room.

Shift Hours: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM, Tuesday - Saturday

Key Responsibilities:

• Responds to emergency calls or requests for cleaning services.
• Assists in preparing patient rooms for procedures, including cleaning, sanitation, removing supplies/equipment, and transporting special equipment and supplies based on AAMI standards.
• May remove solid and/or biohazard trash.

Technical Capabilities:

• Customer Service (Intermediate): Keeps management informed on projects, ensures customer satisfaction, discusses options with customers, commands respect, influences business opportunities, negotiates service levels, and handles unexpected demands smoothly.
• Sterilization Preparation (Fundamental Awareness): Has limited experience or training with sterilization preparation.
• Surgical Equipment Knowledge (Intermediate): Demonstrates mastery of equipment, understands performance criteria, and can resolve equipment issues efficiently.
