Job summary

Corewell Health’s Grosse Pointe Hospital is seeking a dedicated OR Attendant to support the surgical team in a fast-paced environment. You will turnover OR rooms, restock supplies, assist with patient beds, and make runs to Lab/Blood Bank while upholding our high standards of service.

This full-time day-shift position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities to contribute to a Magnet-designated facility, with on-call weekends as part of the duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Six months to one year OR assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Turnover the OR room, wipe all the equipment down in the OR room, mop the floors.
• Restock supplies and housekeeping carts.
• Pick up patient beds for the surgeries of the day.
• Make runs to the Lab and Blood Bank when requested by the OR room.
• Provide the highest quality of service delivered efficiently, effectively, and compassionately as outline in our standards 100% of the time.

State of the art hybrid room just opened with the rest of OR currently under renovation. We support many service lines: General, GYN, Urology, Neuro, and specialize in Orthopedics.
