Job summary

Freeman Joplin is seeking an OR Assistant to support the main operating room. This full-time day shift role involves maintaining a safe, clean perioperative environment, assisting with patient handling, and transporting specimens and equipment under RN supervision.

Responsibilities include stocking supplies, moving equipment, and ensuring readiness of the OR for procedures. On-call rotation is required with 30-minute report time.

Qualifications

• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, clean environment in the OR supporting patient care and staff.
• Assist staff with safe patient handling, movement, and transfers under RN guidance.
• Stock supplies and transport specimens, blood products, and equipment in/out of the OR suite.
