UNC Health Appalachian is seeking an Operating Room Assistant (OR-A) in Boone, NC. You will prepare and maintain operating rooms, assist with instrument sterilization, and support patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous OR or surgical setting experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of sterile instruments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain operating rooms before, during, and after procedures.
• Sterilize and organize surgical instruments and equipment.
• Assist with patient positioning and turnover between procedures.
• Support the surgical team and ensure infection control standards.
