Job summary

Unusual Ventures is hiring an Operating Partner to lead Founder Services and Platform teams. You will be one of Unusual's Operating Partners, with day-to-day ownership of coordinating resources, setting priorities, and delivering high-quality founder support on schedule.

You will work closely with John Vrionis to organize resources, help founders win at any stage, and build repeatable programs the team can deliver with impact.

Qualifications

• Proven operator with track record in startups, as a CEO or COO, with deep enterprise software experience.
• Built and scaled companies; can distinguish traction from noise.
• Built go-to-market and recruiting motions from the ground up; can coach founders credibly.
• Enjoy helping founders succeed; able to challenge them and be heard.
• Strong leader who can own execution and raise team performance.
• High standards, high empathy, calm and structured thinking.
• Values-driven; integrity and long-term company building.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day: lead Founder Services and Platform teams, manage people and priorities.
• Organize resources: direct talent, go-to-market, marketing, events, content, and introductions to founders.
• Help founders win: support at any stage with recruiting, GTM, customers, or media.
• Build the playbook: shape founder support programs and scale delivery.
• Set the standard: raise the bar for value-add in venture.
