Job summary

Prospect Capital Management is seeking an Operating Executive to lead and integrate acquired entities across the United States. This role entails owning the P&L, shaping strategic direction, and driving performance from the boardroom to the shop floor.

You will partner with Prospect's investment team and the acquired company’s leadership to design and execute growth initiatives, optimize operations, and enhance overall value creation for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years in senior management with P&L ownership or CEO/President experience.
• Experience leading strategy, operations, finance, and team development.
• Proven profitability and cash flow growth track record.

Operating Executive Program

As an Operating Executive with Prospect, you will collaborate with our investment team to identify and pursue attractive acquisition opportunities across the U.S. Following a successful transaction, you will step into the role of President & CEO of the acquired company, taking full ownership of strategy and operations.

In this capacity, you will be accountable for overall P&L performance, designing and executing growth initiatives, and leading the company’s day-to-day operations. As the senior-most executive within the business, you will partner closely with Prospect and the company’s board of directors, playing a central role in shaping the company’s long-term direction and value creation.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of senior management experience, with a proven track record of successful P&L ownership and/or service as CEO, President, or General Manager.
• Demonstrated ability to lead all aspects of a business, including strategy, operations, finance, and team development.
• Strong track record of driving profitability and cash flow growth, with an emphasis on EBITDA generation.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the appetite to assume significant responsibility, balanced by the discipline to manage fiduciary obligations to diverse stakeholders.
• History of proactively building revenue and increasing profitability through business development and growth initiatives.
• Excellent professional references and a reputation for integrity and sound judgment.
