Job summary

Pacific Opera Project is seeking an Executive Director to lead development, finance, and strategic advancement. You will act as the primary fundraiser, cultivate major donor relationships, and guide the organization through its next growth phase.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of senior nonprofit leadership with major gift experience.
• Proven ability to cultivate and close six-figure gifts and build donor portfolios.
• Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead fundraising strategy and annual campaigns, managing major gifts.
• Oversee budgeting, cash flow projections, and financial reporting.
• Serve as primary liaison to the Board of Directors and drive governance initiatives.
• Represent POP publicly at performances, donor events, and community functions.
• Supervise senior staff and cultivate a collaborative, high‑performing team.
