OpenText Exstream CCM Cloud Developer (Full-Time/Contract) – Warren, NJ (Hybrid/Remote)

Full‑Time / Contract. Local candidates highly preferred.

Must have: Insurance/finance client experience.

Overview

Client is seeking a Cloud‑Native OpenText Exstream Developer to design, develop, and maintain customer communication applications tailored for the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance sector.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in OpenText Exstream, strong experience with cloud‑native architectures, and solid understanding of insurance‑specific document generation (e.g., policy issuance, renewals, cancellations).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, cloud‑native OpenText Exstream CCM solutions for P&C insurance workflows.
• Develop and maintain interactive, on‑demand, and batch document templates using OpenText Exstream tools.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver customized solutions.
• Optimize document generation for performance, compliance, and personalization.
• Integrate Exstream with enterprise systems (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek, OpenText ECM).
• Support migration from legacy CCM platforms to cloud‑native Exstream.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis for document generation errors.
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and industry best practices.
• Document technical solutions and provide support documentation.

Technical Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands‑on experience with OpenText Exstream CCM (Design Manager, Empower Editor, Storyteller, etc.).
• Strong expertise with OpenText Exstream Cloud Edition (CE) and cloud‑native deployments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Deep understanding of P&C insurance communications (policies, declarations, endorsements).
• Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with PDF generation, print/mail, and omnichannel delivery.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; able to work independently or in a team>

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating Exstream with Guidewire, Duck Creek, or Majesco.
• Understanding of insurance regulatory compliance (NAIC, state DOI).
• Exposure to OpenText Intelligent Capture, xPression, or Documentum.
• Certifications in OpenText Exstream or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
