Job summary

A leading IT services company is seeking a Mid-Senior level IT Technical Recruiter to manage OpenStack deployments and CEPH Storage clusters. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Linux, infrastructure automation, and programming, particularly in Python. This role offers an opportunity for full-time employment after an initial contract duration of 12 months.

Contract Duration: Initially 12 Months+ Possibility for full time

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

1. Over 5 years of experience with OpenStack in production environments
2. Experience managing and operating CEPH Storage clusters
3. Expertise in architecting, managing, and upgrading large-scale OpenStack deployments
4. Strong Linux skills with excellent troubleshooting abilities
5. Advanced proficiency in infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform
6. Expertise in at least one programming language, with a preference for Python
7. A solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols
8. Strong knowledge of CI/CD and/or VCS tools, such as Jenkins and Git
9. Familiarity with container technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes
10. Good knowledge of server hardware, including BMC/Redfish

Beneficial but not required

1. Experience with Kolla Ansible or similar OpenStack deployment tools
2. Bare metal provisioning experience using Ironic or MaaS
3. Experience with Hashicorp products, in particular with Vault and Terraform
4. Experience deploying and managing HPC clusters
5. Experience with Infiniband
6. SRE experience and the ability to implement effective monitoring solutions, SLIs, and SLOs
