BairesDev is seeking a Cloud Engineer specializing in OpenStack and Python to build and maintain robust, open-source cloud infrastructure. You will manage virtualization and automation, ensuring highly available distributed systems that power scalable cloud environments.

You will design, deploy, and administer production-grade OpenStack clusters, develop Python-based automation scripts, optimize storage and virtualization layers, and implement monitoring, self-healing, and security practices in

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in Cloud/Systems/Infrastructure roles.
Proven expertise in designing, deploying and maintaining OpenStack cloud environments.
Advanced Python for infrastructure automation and scripting.
Strong understanding of Linux systems and Ceph distributed storage management.
Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and administer production-grade OpenStack clusters and their core components.
Develop Python-based automation scripts and tools to streamline infrastructure management and orchestration.
Optimize and manage distributed storage solutions and virtualization layers for peak performance.
Automate provisioning and lifecycle management of VMs, networking, and bare-metal workloads.
Implement monitoring, alerting, and self-healing processes to maintain reliability and security.
Collaborate with engineering teams to define cloud standards and support migration of services to OpenStack.
