BairesDev is seeking a Cloud Performance Engineer to optimize cloud infrastructure and balance performance with cost across AWS, GCP, and Azure. You will implement autoscaling, right-size resources, and select workload-appropriate instances while collaborating with engineers to embed cost-aware performance in the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Performance Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or DevOps.
• Proven expertise in optimizing cloud infrastructure for performance-to-cost ratio across AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Proficiency in tuning autoscaling configurations and implementing right-sizing strategies.
• Hands-on experience with workload-specific instance selection and performance benchmarking.
• Strong understanding of cloud cost management tools and performance monitoring solutions.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, or Azure to improve the performance-to-cost ratio.
• Implement and tune autoscaling policies to ensure high availability and resource efficiency.
• Identify and execute right-sizing opportunities for instances and storage based on workload patterns.
• Select and validate workload-specific instance types to maximize processing efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate performance-cost considerations into the development lifecycle.
