Job summary

Trace3 in the United States seeks a Platform Operations Engineer, DevOps with TS clearance to support Space Programs in a secure environment. You will deploy, integrate, operate, and sustain mission-critical systems across OpenShift platforms and automation workflows.

This hands-on role emphasizes OpenShift platform operations, Rundeck-based automation, and standard system administration with security controls, incident response, and performance optimization across compute, network, and storage.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI preferred.
• Hands-on OpenShift platform operations and Linux/Windows administration.
• Experience with Ansible, Puppet, and Rundeck.
• Strong troubleshooting across distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee OpenShift deployments and lifecycle management in classified networks.
• Design and maintain Rundeck runbooks for deployments and incident response.
• Ensure automation is repeatable, auditable, and secure.
• Provide hands-on Linux/Windows support, patching, and troubleshooting.
• Act as escalation point during outages and deployment issues.
• Perform root-cause analysis and restore mission capability quickly.
